Present: Town Board, Clerk, John Johnson, Hank (Washburn County Highway), and Gary Olson.
The ditches from stop sign to the cranberry bog:
South – push slope out, fill 100ft. by stop sign, needs fill to support the shoulder.
North – Not as bad. Does need some slope to support the shoulder. Slope so that it will still drain.
Material – 600-800 yards needed. Will see if Gary Olson or some other pit close by has enough material. Otherwise have to use the County’s pit, which would be more hauling.
Shoulders will be just fill, not fabric.
Rock both sides by the pipe.
Guardrail by the pipe, on both sides.
3” gravel in wet area.
No sand lift.
2 ˝” Blacktop
Mark power and phone lines.
N4739:
Driveway needs a culvert. It should have had one put in when the driveway was built. It is not a problem now, has rocks places for drainage. The road will end up being 4-5” higher. Property owner was present and asked that if it is fine now don’t change it. He doesn’t want to put in a culvert. He will build up driveway after the road is done. Board will leave it for now and if problems in the future, will deal with it then.
The driveway into their field does not have a culvert either. Could also be a potential problem.
No gravel will be put in driveway at N4739.
